we are running out of time

A few friends decided to take a trip to New York City during the weekend.

Since there are a few of them, they thought to take one car to drive there is more economic than taking a flight.

They plan to hit the road 8:00 in the morning and planned a Broadway show at 8:00PM with the thinking that 12 hours should be enough to reach NYC.

Well, they did hit the road 8:00AM, and after  10 hours driving, they found they have lost. One suggested that “let’s stop somewhere and figure out where we are and get the drive direction established and we continue.” Said another voice “No, no, we cannot stop, we are running out of time, we got to be hurry.”
