You have the right not to be a programmer. If You choose to be a programmer, every line of code you put in (even if you copy / paste from somewhere else) can be and will be used against you in debugging session or code review session. Or even worse, they will be used in the root cause analysis of a production outage. Be prepared to stand by them.
